More short ideas. Because of my persistent love of Slopers. And that is a strange thing.
Slope of Hope Blog Posts
Slope initially began as a blog, so this is where most of the website’s content resides. Here we have tens of thousands of posts dating back over a decade. These are listed in reverse chronological order. Click on any category icon below to see posts tagged with that particular subject, or click on a word in the category cloud on the right side of the screen for more specific choices.
Make-Good One of Three
I intend to dispose of my blogger's guilt, accumulating over the past several days, by dumping a bunch of great short ideas on you. So let's get started……..
Amazing Cliff Dive
One of my favorite shorts that I've been touting for months is Cliff Resources, and it just keeps delivering. I even did a post on it yesterday even though, non-fundamentalist that I am, I wasn't even aware earnings were on the docket last night.
Anyway, the results speak for themselves; I think this could be a single-digit stock by next year.
Overheating Charts (by Springheel Jack)
Not much from StockCharts today as one of their servers failed overnight due to a cooling failure. Service is back up now but most of today's charts are from elsewhere.
Another dull day on SPX as it inched higher. The close was at 1522, the obvious target for the bull flag that broke up yesterday morning is in the 1525-30 area, and if we are to close yet another week at the upper weekly bollinger band that should finish the week in the 1533 area. If we should see a sharp move to the 1530 area there are good odds there of at least a short term retracement:
When Does Life Get Lush?
I pride myself on publishing a really cool little blog, as I've done for nearly eight years now. On occasion, I'll bow and scrape to my readers since I'll have some issue or obligation come up for a few hours which gets in the way of my usual firehose of content.
For three days running, though, I've been distracted and pulled away by a series of nettlesome and troubling issues of all types that have kept me way away from my blogging duties. I at least wanted to take a few minutes to let you know I'm still here I'm still alive and well, and the usual Slope will be back tomorrow morning, I hope.
Hey, to my credit, at least I did a post suggesting shorting CLF earlier today, and it's down something like 10% after hours. So you got your money's worth, at least!
See you Wednesday morning.
