Preface to all six parts: Before last week ended, I identified thirty-six different stocks that were getting close to a point where they would be intriguing new short positions. I am not in any of these yet, but I wanted to share all of them. I’m publishing twelve per day over this extended weekend – – six each day for everyone, and the other six for PLUS subscribers – – and will say a few words about each one. As always, click on any of them to see the larger SlopeCharts image, symbol, and name.
AAP stop 106.34; this one may need to recover some more for an attractive entry.
ABG stop 56.40; nice broken trendline on this one, but will wait for a good entry.
The stop on ACAD is tougher. I’ll just say 38.00, but this is a large, well-formed diamond pattern, and ultimately the stop may be tighter.
AMJ stop 28.83; very nice gap fill. Once again, may need to wait a little for better price entry.
Stop 991.75 on AMZN; this one is I think “good to go”.
AXL stop 16.38; definitely want to wait on this one to burn off oversold condition.
