We are continuing to polish the Slope Mobile product, and I wanted to mention something about this particular feature:

At the bottom of any post you read will be a section of Related Articles. When I first saw this, I figured it was just a junk feature, but it’s quickly become one of my favorite aspects of the product.
For one thing, it reminds me when I was a kid, and how I’d love to grab a random volume of the World Book Encyclopedia, flop on the sofa, and just reading randomly. It’s fun to explore, and with 25,000 posts on Slope, there’s plenty of good material.
The main thing, though, at the risk of sounding like a blowhard is……….I’m surprised how good some of this stuff is. In some cases, I’m surprised I actually managed to even write the post. The article about Modern Monetary Theory, for instance. It’s fantastic! So I had seriously forgotten just how much terrific material was here.
I look forward to releasing Mobile once we’re ready. In the meanwhile, I’ve become so enamored with this “related posts” concept, I’ve added it to the regular website already.

Because, let’s face it, if only 1% of the stuff I write is excellent, that’s still 250 fantastic posts to read. And it’s kind of a shame that the ephemeral nature of this medium tends to relegate former posts to a memory hole. I believe the Related Posts feature is going to seriously brush off the cobwebs from some of these classic gems so you can enjoy them again.
