Dillard’s is having a great day, having received a full-on blessing from no less than Warren Buffett, shoving prices deep into an enormous topping pattern. I actually tried to short some shares after this pop, but there are no shares to be had.
I am reminded of the Microsoft-incited riot going on with Game Stop last week, which slaughtered many a bear. It’s pretty incredible that during this pandemic, the hottest sector around is one dedicated to people getting in their cars, driving to a sore, and buying stuff. Bizarre, but true.
