This market has that kind of a feel to it right now. What kind of feel is that Rev? This kind. Something just isn’t quite right. The scene below is from a resurrected favorite of mine: Wag the Dog. It delves into the man behind the curtain that tickles our synapses that something just doesn’t add up. I feel like our market at the moment isn’t being completely forth-coming, just like Mr. DeNiro and Hoffman. With that said, the cast to this movie was amazing, and also included Anne Heche. My condolences to her family.

Well, folks, the BBBY saga has truly come full circle. Here we see how, in a matter of just a few days the stock was squeezed up 100% and then squeezed right back down to where it started. Who knows how many 19-year old wanna-be “traders” got destroyed by this, and their dreams of being “apes” and pushing this thing to – – I am not making this up – – $300 per share.

Second Coat of Paint
I continue to like Sherwin Williams (SHW) whose puts paid me nicely a month ago. I’m back for more, by way of January $280 puts. Below are chartings with increasingly-large time ranges. Besides being a good-looking pattern, I think this is a nice way to play the “not as many new houses to paint” angle.
