When times are good, I lament that my virtual portfolio isn’t real. When times are bad – – or, like now, absolutely horrendous – – I am relieved it is just a bit of fiction. Here we see my “Balls to the Wall” loss of nearly half a trillion dollars. That is Bezos-level of cash!
In my real life, here is the present day situation, which I hope is some kind of nadir:
- 25 positions, all bearish;
- All positions January 2023 in-the-money puts (my one December, SIVB, I dumped at a loss today)
- I have no intention of getting anything that expires earlier than next year;
- Exactly 25% cash, which I shall deploy if and only if the mystic and prophetic Bear Force One actually seems to be taking charge;
- As of this moment, a mere 7 profitable and 18 losers, with an overall loss of about 2%
And that’s that!
