Good morning, everyone, and greetings from the land of Duke University. I have “downsized” my normally fits-me-like-a-glove home office into this:
And I’m not kidding about the importance of how a work environment “fits” me. It feels awkward right now, because I don’t have my natural keyboard (and “natural’ is a style), my umpteen monitors, and so on, so these trifle differences can cut my productivity by 30-50%. The reason you get a dozen posts in a trading day is because I’m able to rat-a-tat-tat content if I’m feeling comfortable, but at times when I’m away from my accustomed environment, it’s like being in a foreign country. Indeed, I’m typing this very post while flopped on a bed, since it actually works better for me.
In any case, I saw the bulls had the temerity to try to defy Bear Force One, and the bastards managed to push every single market into the green shortly after the opening. That’s real cute, guys. you don’t know what you’re up against.
