I was bracing myself for a terrible morning. But ya wanna know something? It’s actually going a lot more like this.
My lovingly-chosen short positions are doing just fine, thanks so much for asking. Even with the /ES and /NQ vomiting higher toward ever-more laughable valuations, my positions are either weathering the storm nicely or, in a few cases, actually moving even lower despite the idiotic end-of-year bidding.
Here, for example, is AMD, whose options are sporting a 45% profit at the moment.
I’m quite smitten with Crocs (CROX, heh) whose history of rounded tops is impressive.
Huntsman (HUN) also continues to perform nicely under its gargantuan top.
Oh, and there’s Eli Lilly (LLY) which is sweating out what RFK has planned.
As I was assembling charts for this, it seemed that EVERY position I have was worth sharing, but I’ll end it here. Suffice it to say that good patterns, sooner or later, beat empty-headed Cramer-recommended twaddle.
