The biggest story these days is, of course, the hellscape of southern California, which looks like a post-nuclear warzone. This is what is left of Ryan O’Neal’s house.
Of course, since everything is politicized these days, the countless tragedies are being met by much of the country with some flavor of “they deserve it.” Yeah. Lovely people. Real Christians.
Anyway, here’s a germane chart – EIX – which is being blamed in part for these fires. It’s Edison Electric, which I suppose must be the utility around those parts.
Much like Hawaiian Electric got killed after their own fires (and you can see how well THEY have recovered).
