Today’s Ticker: CTWT
After deep and careful consideration, I have concluded that the entirety of market action over the past twenty-two hours was a Complete and Total Waste of Time. No real direction. No trend. No sense.

I’ll do a post later when I have something more helpful to say. See ya!
Everyone Gets to Lose!
This market is nothing more than a mass of synapses that gets fired up by the latest tweet, rumor, or back-pedal. This morning, the bulls were in “all systems GO” mode with the breakout (green rectangle), which was immediately followed by a multi-hour face-slap (red arrow), allowing bears to short like crazy just in time to get their own losses from a bounce based on No Particular Reason ™. Enjoy the madhouse, folks! Stops are your friend!

Financing Your Sausage
I probably visit my local Whole Foods about two or three times a week. It isn’t a particularly large store, but it’s close to home and has what I need. I’m so familiar with it, I actually had an entire chapter in my novel that’s set there.
A couple of weeks ago, I just had to pick up a couple of items, so I went to a larger market called Cardenas in East Palo Alto, which is much more of a working-class store as opposed to the frou-frou Whole Foods. I was puzzled to see at the front an a poster advertising an app you could use to finance the groceries you were about to buy. I had never heard of such a thing, but it’s just representative of where our country is heading: scumbags like Bezos send their ho’s into space for eleven minutes, just for the hell of it, while common working people actually have to borrow money to get some food.

Canada Hat Tip
In honor of Canada’s big election today, here are a couple of interesting maps with respect to our northern neighbor. First is a diagram of some interesting local foods they enjoy. Jellied moose nose, anyone?
