One of my favorite sites to read is Where’s Your Ed At?, which does deep-dives into sectors (like AI) or companies (like CoreWeave), often with a cynical angle. Ed does extraordinary research into his topics, and unlike Slope, which has a hundred rat-a-tat posts every week, Ed might come out with a few articles each month, tops. One of those that made a big impression on me back in March was the not-at-all subtly titled CoreWeave is a Tomb Bomb.

Tuesday Weld

Fifteen days ago, I was bracing myself for the surrender-to-China moment in the trade war. It was brutal, but I made it through intact. This morning I’m facing the same situation, but this time it’s surrender-to-EU instead. The rise isn’t as absolutely brutal, but at about 1.5% or so, it’s no walk in the park. All through the night, the US dollar has been gaining strength, which is in line with stronger equities.

Entry Level Blobs

I guess one of the reasons I keep harping on how terrifying it’s going to be for young graduates with C.S. degrees to find work is because I’ve got one of ’em in my own family! Hopefully the Knight specialness will kick in, and she won’t have anything to worry about. Still, I think millions of kids with very expensive degrees are going to find themselves in a world of hurt, as A.I. has usurped their opportunities.
