Strange day so far, eh, folks? First there was the rumor of a Trump/Xi phone call, which China denied. Then there was the official announcement of the call, stating that they had smoothed over their differences and had come to terms.
In a classic “sell the news” kind of event, the good news of China/US being buddies (for the moment) sent equities slipping,
Simultaneously, it seems the prediction I made in my recent From Dawn to Musk post is coming true more rapidly than I expected. On the heels of getting “3 for 3” predictions right about Elon’s relationship with the government, I stuck my neck out even further and wrote:
I’ll add one more prediction to the pile…………..Little by little, the former “Best Buddy” will transform into something very different. Trump and Musk will slowly wind up hating each other and slamming each other with increasing intensity in public. I was right about the other stuff. And I’ll be right about this. Stay tuned.
