As a side note, I drove to my childhood home of Moraga last night, which I hadn’t visited in years, with the wife and little Duke. I am sentimental by nature, so going to a place where I spent the happiest years of my life was a turbocharged blast of sentimentality. Duke behaved himself beautifully, even with all the attention he was getting (“can I pet him?”, “can I take his picture?”, etc.) There must have been a hundred other dogs there, most of whom he got to meet.

The music was a cover band called The Traveling Wilburys Revue, which did a good job of bringing to life one of my favorite, albeit short-lived, bands.
The Traveling Wilburys were a supergroup consisting of George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, and Tom Petty. As of June 20, 2025:
- Roy Orbison died in 1988.
- George Harrison died in 2001.
- Tom Petty died in 2017.
The surviving members are:
- Bob Dylan
- Jeff Lynne
Thank you, Moraga, for the emotional trip down memory lane.
