Fakeout from Dell?

By -

This has been a week replete with “it’s-not-supposed-to-do-that!” type events. Super Group was a good example, because it was a beautiful topping pattern that had completed and retraced, and it seemed picture-perfect, and yet……..

Wrong, wrong, wrong! You’re supposed to fall, dude!

Dell is pulling the same stunt today but in an even bigger way. It’s up over 21% as I am typing this.

This isn’t the first time it’s gotten cute like this before. There was a “tease” (blue rectangle) then a 20%+ pop and then, ultimately, it moved down As God Intended ™.

Rubrick (RBRK) is another good example of a bolt-from-the-blue which turned out to be largely irrelevant in the bigger picture.

It’ll be interesting to see by, let’s say, April, if this DELL move actually stuck around or not.
