I was watching the BTC and Weekend quotes all weekend with increasing annoyance, until suddenly this happened:
That swiftly took care of the ridiculous four-figure rise in Bitcoin, although obviously I’m hoping it goes vastly lower
It also took the air out of the Weekend markets. As I’m typing this, the normal futures (vastly more reliable) open in about fifteen minutes, so it’ll be interesting to see how those move through the evening.
Unrelated, Cathie “Bitcoin to at least $1 million” Wood was slavishly praising Elon for his financial engineering but managed to totally step in it by praising not Gwynne Shotwell (the CEO of SpaceX) but instead vaginal egg crystal maker Gwyneth Paltrow. Jesus.
Anyway, time to get on a plane and get back to my dogs. I’ll be posting more on the plane.
