It’s been a long day, and I’m tired. Time to get some rest before my 4:44n a.m. canine wake-up call. It’s been a sad day for the nation, obviously.
I’m not sure how much today’s tragedy has to do with market weakness, but as for the ES, support is around the tinted zone; we’ll need to push that – – and below the horizontal – – to clearly give the bears the upper hand once more. I’ve got 83 short positions, so obviously I’m hoping for continued weakness.
As for the big announcement on Wednesday – – judging from what bonds have been doing, it seems to suggest that anyone who thinks the Fed is going to announce an interest rate increase has been smoking far too much of the drugs that are being legalized in certain states. The interest rates aren’t going anywhere. Except down, later.
