Stuck at the Gate
Since I’m traveling this week, here’s some anecdotal data in that area. I’m going to be pretty quiet until later in the trading day, since I’m in the throes of heading to Boston. I’ve got a special little treat for you, though, coming up in the next post.

Future Schlock
Apparently, there was a BBC program back in 1995 called Tomorrow’s World which set about to do the impossible: speculate what life would be like thirty full years into the future. That would be………well, us. Right now. It’s interesting to look at some of the predictions made back then (and, I’ve got to tell you, 1995 honestly doesn’t feel that terribly long ago to me).

Black Hawk Down
On Tuesday night, my wife and I watched the first episode of the program Lockerbie, which recounts the horrible terrorist act of Libya which killed 270 innocent people. The episode was graphic and jarring, to say the least. The very next night, of course, only hours ago, we all heard about this:
