Energy stocks have had a tremendous run lately, expressed succinctly here by XLE:

Slope initially began as a blog, so this is where most of the website’s content resides. Here we have tens of thousands of posts dating back over a decade. I have put options on all the charts below – all of them with a June expiration, except for RKLB, which is way out into next January. The biggest winner right now, by far, is UBER, with almost a 70% profit. As the expiration date suggests, I have bigger hopes for these trades. I have zoomed in on the most relevant portions of recent price history.

People all o’er the world know of the tale of Credo, which I related here last night. Children are put to bed by their parents reading them this story. As I suggested in my bedtime tale, it was idiotic to panic and cover, as the graph plainly shows.

I have twenty-four equity short positions. Besides this, I also own puts on seven equities (most of which expire in June, and one in September, which means there’s tons of time). By definition, these are the seven charts I feel most confident will be substantially lower in the weeks or months ahead.
