Positions are Kickin’ It
So many stocks that have struck me as gorgeous short setups – – yet did nothing for weeks on end – – are at long last finally starting to melt down, as God intended. Of my 93 positions, 28 of them are jumping-up-and-down shorts, one of which, TCK, is shown below. I am delighted that things are starting to crack. Let’s just hope the jokers at the Fed don’t poop in the punch bowl now that things are finally working out. (more…)
Easy Come
This is profoundly puerile, I realize, but I’ve got to share this little nugget: years ago, I took a portion of my cash from the sale of Prophet and put it into a software company. A couple of years later, it looked like it was going to go belly-up, but fast forward to today, and it’s doing great. They received several national honors recently, and I was looking through the list of other recipients, and I read about a company I had never heard of in my life. I was grumbling yesterday morning that the lack of any bounces in the decline so far meant that I had little to work with in terms of trendlines or patterns. After yesterday’s bounce I’m happy to say that has all changed today.
