The Top Ten page has become a favorite of mine here on Slope. As most of you know, it tracks the top ten most successful traders in Slope’s Virtual Trading feature, and Rich is biting at my heels for the top spot…….

As I’ve circled, Rich has a total P/L of $0, so it seems odd that he’s in second place. But as I’ve explained (and I’ve got a solution to this………) it can be deceiving, since this is showing closed positions, and Rich’s only two trades, both quite profitable, are still open.

Here are the two stocks he is (virtually) long: MP Materials.……

……..and Roku………

I had a “duh” moment as I was composing this post when I realized how easy it would be to show current P/L in a new column, and designate the existing Total P/L column as the more-clear “Closed P/L”. So we’ll do that soon. In the meanwhile, this clears up what’s going on. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to try to prevent Rich from knocking me off the podium.
