Preface to all ETF Posts: I am composing this on Thursday afternoon, so the charts will be up-to-date as of then. I wanted to make some general comments about specific ETF groupings, principally to give me a little time to not have to worry about creating new content for you good people in the near-term.
Let’s start off with the EEM, the emerging markets, which has completed a terrific right triangle pattern. Unlike our own embarrassingly-manipulated U.S. “markets”, the emerging markets still have traces of their organic nature, and thus they peaked many months ago. There is nothing hold these things up anymore. Nothing.

Meh, the EFA chart (the MSCI) is a bore. Why did I even bother? Suffice it to say that the EEM is a much cleaner read. This has some more work to do before its demise is clear.

Oh, and I specifically mentioned Brazil as a short earlier. I’d say this is working out great so far, yes?
