For the first time in 67 trading sessions, the market is actually down a little bit, which should prompt some George Floyd-level riots if it’s allowed to continue for more than another hour or so. In any case, it’s nice to see the bulls losing 0.0000001% of their ill-gotten gains this year:
Of particular interest to me is the bond futures, shown as /ZB below. I declared yesterday that they would be turning south soon, to which DCB replied that I was, and I quote, “Completely wrong and pretty much a a ‘tard“, which I thought as a bit strong. OK, he didn’t really say that, but I read his declaration that TLT was going “much much higher” as such, since I’m sensitive.
As for 2024, I’d like to propose we BAN the uttering or writing of any of these words:
- Taylor Swift
- ChaptGPT (and/or Sam Altman)
- Nvidia
As for the last one, it’s just gone plain stupid. I have no reason to believe it will do so, but I sure hope it gets nuked after hours.
