Since the latest lies and B.S. from the White House sent stocks into the stratosphere, I have spent the morning (checks notes………) shorting like a sumbitch. The cool thing is that, as I’m typing this, the /ES and /NQ are up hundreds of points, and my 100% short portfolio is UP. Take THAT, Bessent! You’re my Power Bottom now, baby!
Of course, the Trump-worshipping, Goldman-Sachs-worshipping dorks at Zerohedge have been cheering on this rally right from the get-go. God, these guys make me want to vomit.
In any case, today so far has consisted of:
- Frantically covering shorts and dumping puts, mostly to my detriment;
- Taking good profits in GDX and GLD;
- Shorting, as stated above, like a sumbitch.
I have four portfolios, and overall, my commitment level is back up to 143%, with one in particular being at an eye-popping 275%. Yikes!
