I’ve had many dogs in my life, but I never realized how madly in love I am with Duke until I went on this trip. I can’t wait to see him again when I return in a couple of days, and I’ve been obsessively checking him on the webcam and staying in touch with the staff to make sure he’s happy. I was thus particularly touched when I stumbled upon this video last night, which is heartwarming.
