Longer-term readers may recall that last summer I frequently alluded to an absolutely insane experience which I simply called The Tale. Surely after all the hints I’ve dropped, you’ve put the pieces together, but it all kicked off due to this event from last June:

Within weeks of this, I had reached several conclusions:
- Alexandr Wang (yeah, that’s the stupid way he spells his name) was a complete tool;
- He couldn’t manage worth dick;
- The billions they were spending on “talent” was pointless (trust me, I know)
- They would ultimately fail in the biggest fiasco of Meta’s long history
Indeed, out of the 50,000 posts I have composed for Slope, the one I wrote about my observations and predictions is the only post I’ve ever deleted, and that’s even though it was behind a paywall. I simply didn’t want my words to cause harm to someone I care about. So I got rid of the post, but only after I printed a copy for myself for posterity.

Well, folks, as with my equity predictions, sometimes they take time, but they DO eventually pan out as God intended. Specifically………..

Of course, they haven’t raised the white flag and described it as a failure, but all of this is taking place only nine months after they spent countless tens of billions of this ridiculous effort.
I say again, they WILL fail, and fail spectacularly, and one day perhaps THE TALE will fully be told. Until then, I shall bask in the soothing glow of my bold and utterly correct soothsaying.
