The map below shows how many years a person would have to save to buy a median-priced housed. Here in Palo Alto the market is white hot, so I suspect the years would be in the triple digits. Just a few doors down for me a house when on the market for $6.5 million and sold for $7.5 million. The dimensions on the palace? 2800 square foot house on a 6500 square foot lot.
I have nothing – – absolutely nothing – – new to say about the market as a whole. I will therefore share with you my ten favorite short charts as of right now.

I have been spending a tremendous amount of time experimenting and coding, focusing on using AI to help find intriguing chart setups. It’s been quite the education, and I’ve dusted off my programming skills in this effort, although almost all the code is being generated by a high-end package from the good people at OpenAI.
