Years ago, one of the hottest equities on the planet was LivePerson (LPSN).
As the company name suggests, they were in the business of providing live persons for customer support. AI has slaughtered these guys, however, even though they themselves have pivoted to using agents. Their stock is down 99.8%, from over $1,000 to just a dollar and change. Yikes.
