Zoom Video has, thanks to Covid-19, become the darling of the stock market. I’d like to point out that, at its current rate of earnings, each shareholder will earn back their investment by the year 4000, which will be pretty cool, because by then you’ll be able to close the position telepathically from Star Base XII.
Here’s the chart itself. Don’t get me wrong; I’m not going to short this pig. But “investors” sure seem to be assuming a lot about this company’s future prospects. I mean, come on. The ability to have a video teleconference isn’t exactly an insurmountable technological monopoly.
