As I’ve mentioned, rarely have I received as much flak as I did when I dared question the artificial intelligence lunacy. I have many reasons for doubting AI, but regardless of my reasons, the AI zealots are positively unhinged compared to the crypto freaks. So I learned to keep my mouth shut. In any case, it seems that my declarations that this thing was a public relations coup, and little else, are starting to bear fruit. You can fully expect this downtrend to accelerate.
Even the fanboys on /reddit are starting to lose things to talk about. The comic thing is that the AI farce added TRILLIONS of dollars to equity valuations, which we’re already starting to see burn off. The whole thing is ultimately going to be seen as a joke, and I was the only one stupid enough to question it.
Of course, the C-level executives are going to milk this thing for all its worth, so they haven’t shut up. In a year or so, I suspect mentioning AI will be as relevant as the buzzwords of recent years such as 3-D printing, blockchains, and CRISPR babies.
