Since my schedule is complete wackadoodle, I’ll put up a midnight post about – what else? – pizza. Below is a chart of Domino’s (symbol DPZ) which at one time I thought would be a great long-time short. This beast can’t seem to break down. Instead, it stays entrenched in a huge, slow-moving range, so I don’t touch this creature anymore, although perhaps a year from now we’ll look back at a mega-top. I just don’t trust it, however.
Good heavens, what a day! Greetings from An Undisclosed Location (although I’ll allow that I am bunking with Dick Cheney). Going through a trading day with no WiFi is, for me, akin to having my oxygen cut off. It was a harrowing experience, but I’ve made it through to the other side, with my guilt raging about my lack of content. I have a starving family to feed, so this will be relatively brief, but you know me well enough after more than 18 years to trust that I’ll make up for it.
The monster news, of course, is Nvidia, which I thank God I have no position in. Indeed, I was TOYING with the idea of buying some Friday QQQ puts today, just on the off chance NVDA tumble. Mercifully, with all my computer and network woes, I couldn’t muster it, so I dodged a bullet there. Overall, my portfolio slipped down 4% today, so I’ll live on to fight the good fight.
(more…)Hello from the year 1918 where we have no Wi-Fi. I have managed to text this tiny post from the air and just want to express my gratitude to be uninvolved with the NVDA beast! In a few hours I’ll be settled and will catch upon this aborted day!
I have very bad news. I’ve just been informed the WiFi on the plane doesn’t work. This means ZERO posts from me until tonight. It also means I’m totally cut off from trading for the day. So excuse me while I mentally strangle United Airlines to death. This seriously SUCKS. Good-bye!
