Slope of Hope Blog Posts

Slope initially began as a blog, so this is where most of the website’s content resides. Here we have tens of thousands of posts dating back over a decade. These are listed in reverse chronological order. OK, Google!

It’s here! It’s here!

Late last night, I stumbled upon the fact that Google had at long last released our Android app for the Slope of Hope (the iPad/iPhone one came out a few days ago). It’s ready for you to download, use, and rate highly! Click here to do so.

Many thanks to the iOS users who have been using (and 5-star-ing) the App Store version. I’m delighted we finally have a mobile app, considering the surprising number of Slopers who have been using the site all these years on their mobile web browsers (which is sub-optimal, to state the matter generously). Give it a try; you’ll love it!

iPhone/iPad App LIVE!

After much time (and much money) I am delighted to let you Apple mobile users know that the Slope of Hope experience is available to you right now! Just search the App Store for “Slope of Hope” (or go here) and, bang, you’re ready to download our free app! Your existing account is all you need to start rocking the free world, mobile-style. (And don’t worry, Android folks, it shouldn’t be long at all before I make the same announcement). I think you’re going to love it!

Hide Those Trades!

By -

If things go as I hope, the year 2021 will be the year that Slope becomes not just a community of traders, but a community of trading. The real thing.

Toward that end, my crack team of virtual trading testers and I have been making good progress on the first phase of this project, and those of you in the comments section have been the unwitting (and unwilling, I imagine) beneficiaries of their virtual trade notices.

No longer! We have tidied up the comments controls and added a new checkbox, shown below. Want to not see any of the virtual trade notices. No problem! Just check the box.

Yer welcome.
