Perspective

For those of you who are not premium members (which includes, incredibly, some 4- and 5-star generals here), I want to offer you two compelling reasons to sign up for Bronze, the lowest premium level, immediately.

Reason number ONE is that I’m going to be increasing its price by 50% in a week. So if you get it now, you get to permanently locked in the ridiculously cheap 9.95/month price. Reason number TWO is that you’ll get access to the Time Perspective charts (and a bunch of other features), which I’m going to describe below. So anyway, seize the opportunity and sign up for Bronze now (or, to save even more, get a Bronze Annual). Those with free accounts do not get to access this feature.

This is the part of the job I love the most: telling you about new products and features. And this one is a doozy. The new feature in SlopeCharts is called Annual Overlay. (Let me say at the outset that I’m not crazy about that name, so if you think of something better, please email me!!)

We have a variety of new features to announce this weekend. One of them is a 7th SlopeLink, which gives Diamond members instant access to the Earnings Reaction chart for whatever symbol they are examining. It is the exclamation mark on the right. To help you, when you mouse over any of these icons in SlopeCharts, a tool tip is displayed so you know exactly what it does. I find myself using the Market Meter all the time these days, for instance.

Ameritrade and ThinkOrSwim users – – great news!

We are continuing to plow forward with integrating brokerages with the Slope of Hope and SlopeCharts in particular. We made our first baby steps a couple of weeks ago with Ameritrade, and now we can do more.

As a reminder, clicking the dollar sign icon in the lower left corner of SlopeCharts invokes the brokerage dialog box. Once you’re logged in (using your normal ThinkOrSwim or Ameritrade credentials), you’re all set.
