Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, one of the most successful public offerings this year (or indeed of any year) has been Zoom Communications (symbol ZM). It isn’t a household name like Uber or Lyft, but the performance has been quiet steady (following an explosive bid above its public offering price).
Of the “big three” this evening, two are huge winners and one is a loser (again, I have no positions in any of these, but they are well worth watching anyway since they are megacaps). Intel is roaring higher:
I’ve said it over and over, and I’ll say it again. I know Beyond Meat is insanely overvalued. But this isn’t a company. This is a financial instrument. And it’s going to keep killing bears left and right.
I haven’t touched Dicks (DKS) in a long time. I haven’t had the need, and I haven’t had the reason. At least, not until today. The curve I am seeing is just too compelling.
