With all the hoo-ha about Beyond Meat and its plunge, I’m pleased to report that I’m short something which is getting hit much, much worse. Indeed, it is the number one failure after hours: McDermott International (MDR), having had a third of its value blown away.

What this teaches me, yet again, is that shorting stuff which has already been killed is totally all right. MDR has already lost the vast majority of its value, and yet here it is again, having a third of its remaining value destroyed instantly. The weak get weaker. I mean, let’s face it, any stock which can do poorly in this totally fake, false, fraudulent environment must be in pathetic shape.
Speaking of murder, let’s enjoy a bit of genius from our patron saint.
