First of all, thanks to all of you who attended the webinar yesterday afternoon for TradeMachine Pro. It’s an extraordinary product, and as Ophir said, Slope of Hope readers get a 35% discount on the subscription – – plus they can try it for a month and cancel for a full refund if they don’t like it. So give it a try.
Since we are just getting into the thick of the earnings season, I wanted to offer a quick reminder as to the ways you can access earnings date information here on Slope: (each title is hyperlinked to the page)
Graphical Calendar – this is the pretty page with all the spiffy corporate logos neatly arranged in a calendar format. This is my go-to page every morning to see what’s cooking that day.
Earnings Calendar – You can also hone in one any specific day and see a much more exhaustive list of all the earnings, since the graphical calendar really just shows the top companies and leaves out the little guys, since there just isn’t enough room.
SlopeCharts – There are a couple of ways SlopeCharts presents earnings date information. First, if you press Ctrl-E, then Events will show up, which includes Splits (“S”), Dividends (“D”) and Earnings Dates (“E”). Pointing at a symbol will give you more detail.
You can also use the Data Panel and click over to the Earnings Events information. This is handy, since it gives you a great way to go through all the charts for a specific earnings group, chart by chart.
Custom Earnings – Finally, this page combines your own watch lists with the earnings calendar and produces a customized earnings calendar, sorted chronologically. This will give you the “heads up” as to which of the stocks you follow are going to have earnings events next.
