As recent posts have shown, I’m really hung up on Ethereum breaking $1700 so this bear market can have its next leg down. I just want to be clear that $ETH isn’t some freakish weakling. The entire crypto space has been blown to smithereens, and frankly $ETH and $BTC are the strong stalwarts, having lost “only” about 50-60% of their value. Take a look at these major al-coins and see how much core damage has been foisted upon these charts……….

Well, piss me OFF. This morning was looking like the bears were going to need some much-needed relief, with crypto threatening a major failure and the ES down more than 40 points. But then, straight outta Washington, D.C.,, the buy programs hit with merciless vengeance:

It is extraordinarily clear that someone out there really, really, really does not want to see $1700 broken on Ethereum, which is the “animal spirits” limit that I’ve been mentioning daily since Millard Fillmore was in office.
