End of the month is especially fun to chart. Fun to see the inter-connectedness with all other timeframes, each being a part of the whole. If for no other reason then Baby Bear mentioned it yesterday, we start with the monthly chart of SE, which looks to be making a decent go of it. For bullish success, we want to stay above the green, and get above the purple.
It’s do-or-die time. Either, for the 4th time, small caps slink away from this crucial level, or the bulls perform the coup-de-grace for the two or three remaining bears on the planet.
The biggest scheduled event this week is on Thursday, after the close, when AAPL and AMZN both announce their earnings. I have acquired January $145 puts on AMZN with an eye toward the stock breaking its already slightly-damaged trendline. There are 171 days left on these puts.
As with all deaths, I found out by way of The Director. Pee Wee was a big part of my high school and college experience, although it’s also a shame that his success was derailed by servicing little Pee Wee back in 1991. My mind is filled with joyful memories of Randy, Pteri, Ms. Yvonne, Cowboy Curtis, practical joke chewing gum, plastic dog turds, red bow ties, and the day’s secret word. God bless Pee Wee.
