This is a fascinating diagram. Almost thirty years ago, the most valuable company on Earth (at a mere $93 billion!) was them maker of light bulbs and cheap dishwashers, General Electric. Now, as you know, the biggest company (and it’s TWENTY-EIGHT TIMES BIGGER) is Apple, whose business model is to simultaneously virtue-signal while getting people to throw away their loaded-with-toxic iPhones every year for a new one, even though there’s nothing wrong with the old one in the first place.
