There is one super-hot stock (hence the lava) I had never heard of until today called Cava, which evidently is a fast-growing restaurant chain of Mediterranean-themed restaurants. Here is their stock chart whose symbol, you guessed it, is CAVA:
Looking at their map of locations, now I see why I hadn’t heard of them, since their presents in the west is quite thin. It looks like they are more of a southern and southwest thing right now.
What intrigued me was how richly-valued their restaurants are. Is a Cava worth 400% more than a Shake Shack? That’s what the market believes right now.
I mean, I’m sure it’s tasty, but………….c’mon.
