Costco Silver Coins

By -

This is going to be an odd post, but perhaps helpful to some of you. I’ve a fan of owning physical precious metals (both silver AND gold), and from time to time I’ve gone to Costco (of all places) to keep adding to my silver. I’m not sure why, but Costco’s price has DROPPED. I suspect they will correct eventually, but moments ago I placed this order (they only let you buy five 20-coin packs at a time):

So that’s 100 ounces of silver with free shipping, which means $32.50 per coin.

If I go, right this second, to a major dealer and buy the same quantity, the cost is going to be 36.49 (I’m not sure if I need to pay for shipping as well), which is over 12% more. I’d say that’s a pretty good deal from Costco, especially if, like me, you get a rebate at the end of the year based on whatever you’ve bought from them.

I don’t get a cut or anything; I’m just sharing a helpful hint if you use Costco. Here’s the link to the product, which you can only see if you’re logged in.
