I mentioned in passing that I saw John Fogerty last Saturday, and he was amazing. I cannot emphasize enough that I can’t stand live shows. I hate the lines. The wait. And, most of all, the people. But in spite of all that, it was TERRIFIC. It was like getting teleported back to 1972, because he played ALL the CCR hits (to which he recently won all the rights). Probably the best live show I’ve ever, ever seen. God bless Mr. Fogerty!
By the way, I thought he was as bayou boy, just like me. Nope. He was born and grew up in the freakin’ East Bay!
