Yes, yes, I know, Bitcoin had a great run from 2009 to 2019. There’s no doubt about it. But let’s focus on the past few years, in light of gold’s fantastic performance this year:
Comparing Bitcoin (black line) to plain old boring old-fashioned Gold (purple line) over the past few years, it’s clear that the stuff you can actually hold in your hand and make glimmer in the sunshine has trounced the fancy-pants digital dollar. It’s nice to see some old school stuff actually win the day, eh?
I suspect gold’s going to have a terrific 2025 as well.
