A quickie trade idea, that is.

In his recent book, “2029 The End of America”, (editor’s note: a great book!!) Porter Stansberry touted Versamet Royalties [VMET] as the fastest-growing precious metals royalty company in the world. Stansberry added this micro-cap (the “growth royalty”) to his precious metals “stack” – which includes bullion, GLD, and Franco-Nevada (the “anchor royalty”) – saying, “…the setup is the best I’ve seen in the royalty business in 25 years.”

The Void

The last week has absolutely stunk for the one or two bears left in the solar system.

Ever since the close on Warsh day, the VIX has withered away from about 21 to only two-thirds of that amount. Think of that! In the span of six trading days, we have eroded to what has been a floor for the VIX for years, based on – – what? – – sailors jumping off the U.S.S. Lincoln?
