Looking at this morning’s Daily Post (Palo Alto’s go-to source of local journalism), I took note of this:
It wasn’t that long ago that any photographic clues (if any) would be very grainy, black and white, and pretty much useless. With all the cameras installed these days, though, the photos taken are going to be practically at the level of a professional shoot.
Just click on the image above to see a somewhat larger version. In particular, take a look at the photo of the rather large chap in the lower right corner. Pretty clear, wouldn’t you say? How many seconds do you think it’ll take for the people of the community to identify him? Four? Five?
My suggestion to thieves is: find another line of work. Buying AMZN and sitting around seems to be a pretty good occupation these days, for instance. Otherwise, you’re just going to get caught.
