(more…)Mobile users – – Android, iPhone, tablets, everything – – I need your help.
As I mentioned recently, I discovered to my shock that a full one-third of Sloper’s visits are from a mobile device. This is shameful to me, because Slope blows on mobile. I’ve never bothered making it mobile-friendly. That is going to change.
In fact, I upgraded from my horrible phone (an ancient iPhone 5s with a shattered screen) to something more modern and decent. I’ve got to say, horizontally, the site isn’t half-bad. This is from my phone just now:
(more…)As we sit here, just a cat’s whisker beneath lifetime highs (as World War 3 has clearly come and gone without any problems), I offer eleven discrete shorting ideas. I have also provided my own stop-loss prices beneath each image, any one of which can be clicked for a much larger version.

I watch the financials ETFs quite closely. The bank sector one, symbol KBE, has, on an intraday basis, been making a steady series of stair steps in recent days. The lower highs are circled, and the price gaps are definitely aiding the fall.

Home, sweet home! Back where I belong! So here’s a post about a sector I’m finding rather interesting these days: semiconductors. Below is a chart of the semiconductor index, symbol $SOX, and what I suggest is a looming bout of weakness. Below this index I’ve provided four individual semi stocks that I think warrant close observation. My only position now is a whole ton of February SMH put options.
