Oil’s Failed Breakouts
Interesting day so far, eh, folks? Looks like we bottomed about half an hour into the day, and the bulls have been gobbling up stocks ever since. That’s A-OK! I want a grind-it-out decline, not a crash. I think July is going to be fantastic for the bears, and for all the bulls buying up stocks at these prices – – thanks!
Energy is a favorite sector of mine, and I am fully loaded up there. The war has been the driver, largely, but we keep getting one false breakout after another. I agree with the notion that we’re back in the summer of 2008 again. In other words, oil is the last man standing, and as it falls, all assets are going to come along for the ride.

So Glad I Didn’t HODL
I stopped trading crypto last year. I made a decent five-figure profit for the year as a whole, but I decided to give equities a go again (and, mercifully, they are a real market once more). I did, however, retain my remaining positions in CryptoStream, just to see how things would have gone if I had the testicular fortitude to hang on for deal life. Let’s just say I’m glad that I’m a wimp.

Of ALL the times to get sick. I’m in bed at this very moment. They might as well pick out a grave plot in the back yard next to one of my past dogs. Why couldn’t they have this stupid Covid attack me on on, let’s say, the Friday before Juneteenth? I know I would have missed the celebrations and parties on Monday, but still, to be so sick I can barely stand on one promises to be an amazing trading day sucks out loud.
I haven’t shut up about the Animal Spirits, and just like everything that’s dribbled out of my mouth in the year 2022, this has been spot-on. The fact the crypto ecosystems is into its next leg of failure is great. The moment BTC gave up $20,000, it was off the races. I’ve got my eyes on about $14,000 or so for this leg.
