I guess the big news hitting the wires after the close is a looming FNM/FRE bailout. That's perfect. I want to do a comprehensive post, and I won't get to it until the wee hours of Saturday morning. C'mon back then. Until then, I dunno. Go have a beer or something. I'm buyin'.

OK, just a few minutes left to go.
Sometimes I am right. Sometimes I am wrong. But this week, all the stars lined up. I felt like the Michael Phelps of trading. All four days were dynamite, and I called just about every turn precisely. PHEW!
I'm not going to get used to it. Being that "on" is pretty unusual. But it was great while it last, and this week has been a total pleasure.
I'll do a post later with my view of things ahead.

Good morning! It's a good morning so far (a mere 15 minutes into the open; anything can happen, as always!) Is today the day we break support? I have no idea. But I've got a feeling………..
Patience Pays
I believe it is too early to be buying index puts. I think the market will fight its way back to the critically important support level that was broken yesterday, and then it will be time to jump in. I don't think that time will come until next week. So I'm focusing on long positions on energy right now.
