We are, I would caution you, precisely at the breakout points on the ES and NQ (see horizontal lines). I guess at this point it all depends on the jobs report. If we fail these lines, there's plenty more downside. If we keep above them and show real strength, it could be the start of something big.
I think the ES and NQ sort of exhausted themselves in the downward fall yesterday and today; I've closed out all the big stuff (SDS, QID, DUG). I had gone into DIG and SSO but closed them shortly thereafter, since (a) we've got a big jobs report in the morning; (b) there's too much 50/50 uncertainty (c) it's been a very profitable day and there's no need to go nuts.
That's it.
If you need a one-decision stock, my favorite remains SDP.
My faith in the UTIL's demise is strong, so if I had to choose one stock myself to buy and hold for years, this would be it. But that's just me.
Well, the DUG idea yesterday was just terrific (as was the OIH idea a few days ago, although I suggested a too-tight of a stop). So today is going just gangbusters.
