At This Ungodly Hour

I think this market is turning me into Count Chocula. Anyway, although I missed it by wasting valuable time sleeping, the ES did a full "round turn" by pushing up about twenty points (getting near one retracement level) and then falling back precisely the same amount. An adept trader could have made a lot of very safe profit in a very small amount of time. Or have been sleeping.

I don't think I'm going to do anything. Continued breaks lower, particularly below October 2002's lows, could make this market more "interesting" than I think I'd like to imagine.

No Happy Ending

Sometimes signs of a top are screamingly obvious. When the New York Times
does a major story on how a masseuse is now a multi-millionaire thanks to
GOOG, it's time to go short. I remember seeing this article when it came
out. Pretty amazing – – – when the public's knowledge of anything
gets this saturated (e.g. "Google is making everyone rich!"),
the world is going to end just about then.
