AA Meeting
I got stopped out of AA this morning, and a bunch of other longs. These were thoughtful, carefully-chosen positions with sensible stops. I had 74 last week. I'm down to 30.
My shorts, on the other hand, have suffered no such indignities. I was making money hand over fist until a week ago. Since then, my desire to try to "buy the bottom" has completely suspended my ability to generate green. I'm just stuck. My year has stiill been better than 99.9999999999% of the world's population, so I'm not complaining, but I was really getting used to easy money. Feh.
Going Long OIH
I have acquired a large January call position in OIH. Even if we get a final wave 5 plunge (which seems increasingly dubious to me), I see much higher prices for OIH in the near term; this, to me, is a very safe trade.
Too Cool
Calmer Comments
I'm glad the comments section has calmed down a little thanks to the new chat function. Not everyone loves chat, but the majority of folks wanted it to stay. I'll try to figure out a way to maybe sequester the comments popup to a special place on the blog, but for now I'm just going to let it ride.
I will also mention that I'm going to be creating a way for ProphetCharts folks to reference their charts (e.g. "check this out…..") in the comments section, since it's obviously a bit silly for competing charting sites to be the only mechanism by which people can share their ideas.
